It's been too long since my last Blog....the reason for this is that my largest client, IEEE, has been keeping me very busy. I have been really enjoying my experience working for the IEEE, the worlds largest professional association, advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its highly-cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing and technology information around the globe.
There are more than 430,000 IEEE members in more than 160 countries. The IEEE publishes a third of the world’s technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics and is a leading developer of international standards that underpin many of today's telecommunications, information technology and power generation products and services.
IEEE sponsors more than 1,300 annual conferences and meetings worldwide. A fact that makes my head spin...and I have loved contributing to that for the last 16 months and plan to continue to do so. In fact, I just finished negotiating my first international conference contract for the 2017 26th Symposium on Fusion Engineering (SOFE) in Shanghai, China. Hey, I am am not saving lives but I am contributing to advancing technology for all of humanity. How cool is that?
